The KYOCERA ECOSYS M4132idn is an A3 monochrome multifunction system for a department or a busy workgroup. It prints, copies and scans as standard, and fax is available as an option.
Engine speed is 32 pages per minute on A4 and 17 pages per minute on A3; the first copy leaves the machine in 5.2 seconds and warm-up takes 20 seconds or less. Print resolution is selectable at 600 × 600 or 1200 × 1200 dpi, and two-sided printing is standard.
Standard paper capacity is 600 sheets — a 500-sheet universal cassette plus a 100-sheet multipurpose tray — and reaches 1,600 sheets with two optional PF-471 cassettes. Media runs from A5R to A3, 60–163 g/m² from the cassette and 45–256 g/m² from the multipurpose tray. The reversing automatic document feeder takes 50 sheets.
The machine is driven from a 7-inch colour touch panel with wizard-style navigation and built-in NFC for tap-to-print and tap-to-scan. Scanning runs at 50 images per minute single-sided and 16 duplex, in TIFF, JPEG, XPS, OpenXPS and high-compression PDF. Interfaces are USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet and two USB host ports; Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct are optional.
ECOSYS means the drum and developer are built for long life and are not replaced with every toner: the TK-6115 cartridge alone yields 15,000 A4 pages to ISO/IEC 19752. The system is certified Wi-Fi Certified, Blue Angel, Common Criteria and IPv6 Ready.
