There are masking sensors on the body of the MotionProtect Outdoor wireless street motion sensor, which activate an alarm if intruders want to interfere with the operation of the sensors. The sensor will work on sealing, barriers and painting. The device is also activated when you try to block the view of the lenses. According to the same principle, the sensor can work on snow sticking on the sensors and on large raindrops, which will provoke a false alarm. Ajax Hood will provide protection for the MotionProtect Outdoor outdoor sensor even during heavy snowfall or downpour.

Installation of Ajax Hood motion sensor protection

The Ajax Hood visor and the MotionProtect Outdoor outdoor sensor are ready for operation immediately after being removed from the box. Installation takes place in a matter of minutes using the SmartBracket attachment in the sensor and the Dual Lock tape for mounting the Ajax Hood. Neither the motion sensor nor its protection require disassembly of the housing during installation. Effective motion detection will be ensured by installing the MotionProtect Outdoor sensor together with the Ajax Hood protective visor at a height of 0.8 — 1.3 meters.
