The Synology HAT3320-8T is an 8 TB 3.5-inch hard drive from the Plus Series, made for Synology NAS systems and validated by Synology for use in them. It uses a SATA 6 Gb/s interface, spins at 7,200 rpm and reaches a maximum sustained transfer speed of 281 MB/s.

Power draw is 5.74 W at idle and 9.07 W during random 4 KB reads and writes. The drive operates at 5 °C to 60 °C and may be stored between −40 °C and 70 °C.

Synology provides a 3-year hardware warranty. Firmware updates for Plus Series drives arrive through DSM, so a drive installed in a Synology NAS stays current without separate tools.
